We’ve been heading towards a decision over the last few days, a decision that I think most of us have been feeling for the last few weeks. We’ve decided that for various reasons, it’s time to call The proGnosis a day and end the blog…well, not quite yet anyway!
Our situations have changed vastly since we began in March 2007. Three of us have finished Bible College Courses and two of us have begun them. Three of us have got married and three of us have now got our first child (not all the same three). We’re all involved in ministry in different ways, some full-time, others part-time, others still seeking! And what we’ve found is that really we’re in places where we no longer have the time for this blog, so we’ve decided that at the end of this year, we’ll be done.
So what you’ll see over the next 41 days is at least one last post from each of us. There’s no set structure or theme to that post though I guess it’s likely that at least some of them will be reflective on these past few years of The proGnosis. We may do some top posts and favourites too! Keep your eyes peeled.
Thank you for reading and thank you for your contributions in the comments box.

Gutting – yet it if dropping the proGnosis allows you to glorify God in other ways – GAIN.

Funny how life changes – a similar thing, for similar reasons is happening with BeginningWithMoses.org though we’re not shutting it down (kinda been on hold for a year or so though). Thankfully we’ve found a new team to hand over to in the near future.
I’m starting to think that seven years and 2730 blogposts at thebluefish.org might nearly be enough… but we’ll see.

Boys – I’m proper gutted!!
Proggy has been one of my favourite sites to visit for ages now. But I trust your judgement and wish you well with all the other good and godly stuff you get up to! Thanks so much for serving the church with such stimulating and insightful posts for so long.
Praying that God’ll bless you heaps!
